Temple Bar: Pub Challenge #4-6

Remember how I said Ireland has the best pubs in the world? Well the Temple Bar district in Dublin has supposedly the best pubs in Ireland. Not sure if I agree with that personally, but I still went there last night and got drunk, so yet another victory!



I don't know these people. And no, they're not

the mysterious Americans I may or may not have met.



First was the Temple Bar itself (where the district supposedly gets its name), which is not so much a bar as it is several bars in one building. It does have a very nice atmosphere. I also discovered how useful this pub challenge is for socialising. Handing someone a camera and asking them to take a shot is a great way to meet people, as evidenced in this photo. The person in question was a US girl with her boyfriend and another friend who subsequently dragged me along to the next two pubs after this one, and kindly took pictures for me. Then suddenly they were gone and I had totally forgotten to take their picture. I don't even remember their names, although I think the bloke was called James or something. So now I'm left wondering if they even existed or if they were inventions of my alcohol fueled imagination. But then who took the pictures!? I'm a little scared right now...
